Our Mevaga cognition test measures the current cognitive performance. In the first part
of the test the information processing speed (IPS) is measured,
in the second part the memory span (MS) is measured. The core size
of the main memory can be calculated by combining these basic elements. The working memory capacity is the
most important measure of the current cognitive performance of a person and is also known as fluid
intelligence. With this test you can measure your current performance level and to compare the values with
later measurements.
How fast do you process information?
Information processing speed (IPS) is a cognitive ability that can be defined as the time it takes a person to
absorb and react to environmental stimuli. It shows in the speed of processing thoughts- how quickly we perceive
and think, e.g., add numbers or recalling different memories. Regardless of which of our senses we use to receive
information, the speed of its processing is required in countless situations in which we must react quickly to new
things. The speed of information processing can be increased through cognitive training.
How big is your memory span?
Memory span (MS) is a cognitive skill. It describes the amount of time that information is present
in the brain for further use. This period of time is limited, varies from person to person and can be
extended/improved through training. The memory span is an important component of our mental performance.
The larger it is, the more complex thought processes are possible.
How does the test work?
The Mevaga cognition test is freely accessible, registration is not required.
At the beginning of the test, we ask you three questions. Your answers to these questions and your test results will be stored anonymously. We guarantee that no assignment to your person will be made.
Our test consists of two parts. Part 1 tests your information processing speed (IPS), part 2 your memory span (MS). Both tests contain two runs, one with numbers and one with letters. The entire test takes approximately 6 minutes and your result will be displayed after you have completed the second test.
You can repeat the test as often as you want and, for example, write down your test results and compare them daily. Focus and make sure that you are not getting disturbed during the test.
Note on the display size:
The test is optimized for the standard display size of your smartphone. If you have problems with the display, please check your settings.
How fast do you process information?
As soon as you start the test, you will be shown individual characters/symbols.
Find them as quickly as possible in the drawing field below and click or tap on
them. In the first run you are looking for numbers, in the second letters. This
test takes approximately 2 minutes (1 minute per run).
How big is your memory span?
As soon as you start this test, a random sequence of characters is displayed approximately every
second, consisting of digits in the first run and letters in the second. After this sequence,
you will be asked to play back all characters in the correct order. Enter the characters using
your keyboard and confirm your entry by pressing the Enter key. If the entry is correct, the
process is repeated with an additional character added. You can make one mistake per run; the
second incorrect entry ends the respective run. At the end of this test, you will be shown your
results.

If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object to the
processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also
applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can
be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless

pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR).

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects shall have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority,
in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged
violation. The right of appeal is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment
of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the
direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content,
such as requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact
that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock
symbol in your browser line.
If SSL encryption is activated, the data that you may transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion and correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information
about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary,
a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on
the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can
contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in
the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this.
For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your
personal data.
If the processing of your personal data happened / happens unlawfully, you can demand the restriction
of the data processing instead of the deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defense or assertion of legal
claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of
erasure.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balancing of your and our interests must
be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to
request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may - apart from being stored - only
be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection
of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European
Union or a Member State.
Objection to advertising e-mails
The use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation for the transmission of advertising

technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website - for this purpose, the server log files must be
collected.
Adobe Typekit Web Fonts
Our website uses so-called web fonts from Adobe Typekit for the uniform display of certain fonts. The provider is Adobe Systems Incorporated, 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA (Adobe).
